How did you start this project. How long did it take from the initial idea to have it finished?

The initial idea I've been pondering for about 2 years. It was a crazy theory that I always had in mind. Thanks to the technological advances in artificial intelligence, I decided to materialize the idea, and it was completed in 6 months.

Has it been a self-financed project or did you find private financing?
It has been self-financed with my own savings and an investment from my mother.

Many filmmakers finance the entire project, finishing it in their spare time while studying or working etc. This makes it a very wear-and-tear process and takes a long time to finish. Even many of these projects never end up being assembled. In your case, how has the process been?

The short film was being produced while I was finishing my last year of university and doing my professional internships. It was a lengthy process, but it was worth it.

At what point is the project in terms of festivals? Tell us a litle about your experience in festivals and what you expect from festivals for this project.

So far, and thanks to God, it has been selected in 108 film festivals and has won 45 festivals as the best short film. The rest have received honorable mentions, finalist, official selections, etc. Additionally, it had been chosen by a qualifying festival for the Academy Awards; although it didn't reach the final round, being selected by such a festival is a significant achievement.

And what I expect from the festivals is that they appreciate this passionately created work, and ultimately, I aspire for it to be the first short film created with artificial intelligence to win an Oscar.

Tell us the best moment and the worst experienced during the process of finishing the project.

Not knowing if this would succeed or not and taking that leap of faith to bring it to life. When we uploaded the film it wasn't selected for the first 5 festivals in a row, it was disheartening, but seeing how far it has come heals the soul.

Do you have any other project in mind? If so, can you tell us something?

Yes, we have a musical project that we are very passionate about, and we will focus on the new way of making music, supported by technology.

What do you expect from a film festival? Where do you think they should improve?

I expect they appreciate the work more than the artist. I see that a film often gets more recognition based on who made it rather than its actual quality. I believe this limits those of us who are just starting in the world of cinema.

Now we would like to know more about you. How did you start in the cinema?

Since I was young, I worked on film projects. By twists of fate, I am dedicated to politics, but I have always wanted and studied about cinema, being self-taught.

How do you define yourself as a filmmaker? Your best virtue and your worst flaw?

Just starting in the world of cinema, my best virtue would be the ability to explain the ideas I have in mind and bring them to life. A flaw would be that I'm not satisfied until it looks exactly as I imagine it.

For you, a good movie should have:

For me, a good movie should have a compelling and well-developed storyline, interesting characters, effective cinematography, and a connection that resonates with the audience. However, everyone's preferences may vary, and I'm here to assist with any movie-related inquiries or recommendations you might have.
